Post-Participation Survey Results: Natsugaku 2025

We report the results of a survey conducted with 88 participants of Natsugaku 2025. Once again, overall satisfaction was extremely high, with 90% of respondents indicating that they were “Very satisfied” and the remaining 10% responding “Satisfied.”

■ Changes in Awareness Regarding Future Path Selection

The percentage of students who answered that they were “still undecided” about their future path decreased from 34% before participation to 18% after the program. This indicates that many participants were able to gain a starting point for clarifying their future direction.

■ Significant Reduction in Anxiety Toward STEM Fields

Before participating, 66% of students reported having concerns about pursuing a STEM-related path. These concerns mainly included future employment, the small number of women in STEM fields, life events such as marriage and child-rearing, and understanding from those around them.
After the program, however, 88% of students responded that their concerns had been “resolved” or “partially resolved,” demonstrating that the program provided concrete encouragement toward choosing a future in STEM.
